TESTAMENT

After a tough upbringing, Simon was happy to carve out a regular life in an anonymous corner of the deeply troubled land known as the Commonwealth. However, while keeping watch over his idealistic and often naive brother Drew, Simon is swept up into a popular movement driven by a charismatic leader intent on returning to the people the power over their own lives. When that leader is brutally murdered on a live broadcast, his followers turn to Simon to keep the movement alive. So with an ambitious, mysterious young follower at his side and everything he’s loved behind him, he sets out for the mythical First City, intent on making a statement that hope is still alive in the Commonwealth. The only problem is he’s not even sure he still believes that’s true.
